Object Management Group Announces Internet of Things and Model-Based Engineering in Manufacturing June Event in Brussels

Needham, MA - May 2, 2017 - The Object Management Group® (OMG®), an international, open membership, not-for-profit technology standards consortium, will host the Internet of Things and Model-Based Engineering in Manufacturing event on Wednesday 7th June 2017 at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel in Brussels, Belgium. The public is invited to attend by registering here.

The event will focus on the requirements for standards that Industrie 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing strategies bring to the data infrastructure as manufacturing transforms from building complex products to complete systems. Attendees will learn about developments and strategies in support of complex system manufacturing and will help formulate requirements in conjunction with key industrial players, organizations and program such as the Industrial Internet Consortium® (IIC™), GfSE, ProSTEP iViP and the Plattform Industrie 4.0. The event will end with a panel discussion on the need for action and joint activities. View the agenda here.

The registration fee of $129 USD also covers opportunities for attendees to meet and network with speakers, panelists, OMG task force chairs and fellow attendees, including an evening cocktail reception at the hotel. Attendees are welcome to join the OMG Manufacturing Technology and Industrial Systems Domain Task Force for an in-depth discussion about OMG's manufacturing standards work on 8 June for an additional fee of $99 USD.
