Object Management Group Co-Hosts 5th Annual Business Architecture Innovation Summit

Needham, MA - February 28, 2017 - The Object Management Group® (OMG®), an international, open membership, not-for-profit technology standards consortium, today announced it will co-host the fifth annual Business Architecture Innovation Summit with the Business Architecture Guild from Tuesday, March 21 through Wednesday, March 22 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Reston, Virginia. This event features business practitioners and experts from around the world who will discuss business architecture's role in a cross-section of industries. Registration for the two-day Summit is $395 USD. An optional Business Architecture Reference Model Workshop is available on Thursday, March 23. The registration fee for all three days is $495 USD. In addition, a free half-day Business Architecture Primer is available on Monday afternoon (March 20) for those new to the discipline.

Discussions weave together state-of-the-practice approaches that feature business architecture's role in:

  • Strategy enablement and business model deployment
  • Practice alignment and roadmap definition
  • Portfolio management and investment strategy
  • Risk management and regulatory compliance
  • Business performance analysis
  • Digital transformation and customer experience

Special sessions this year include presentations from business architecture reference model teams who will walk through critical work underway in the insurance, healthcare, financial services, and manufacturing industries, as well as the popular Lightning Talks. See the full agenda here.

The Business Architecture Summit is co-located with the OMG Technical Meeting from March 20-24, 2017 in Reston, Virginia. Attendees are welcome to register for the full Technical Meeting week.
